This is a classic Alaska bumper sticker, known to many Alaskans. |
The guys that make bumper stickers may not know how to spell. But they do know that Chitina, Alaska, is seriously at "the end of the road." Chitina was once a very important place. It had a railroad turnaround between Cordova and the Kennecott Copper Mines. The train track is now gone, and Chitina is a windblown Alaska ghost town, full of old cabins and dusty streets.
